So maybe it's my hormones that got me in a tizzy, but I could scream at my in laws right now. Right in their faces. We've had a date in place to replace our roof, a full scrape off and re-shingle, for over 2 months now. My husband recruited his brother, brother in law and cousin to help and they all agreed. Even spoke about it with them a few weeks ago to double check they were still planning on it.  He texts them this week to get a plan in place.....His brother and brother in law bailed for last minute camping trips and his cousin says, yeah maybe I can help for a few hours. WTF. My husband has helped all of them with their roofs, moving in and out of their houses, and we have literally never asked for help, ever. And the one big project we do ask them to help with, they make plans to go camping. Oh, and not to mention, they suggest he postpone it til the next weekend so they can be there. Seriously?! Forget the fact we have a baby coming, not a big deal apparently...ill just get my 7 month pregnant butt up there and lay shingles down, but please, enjoy your camping trip 🖕🏼🖕🏼 I really feel like I need to say something to their wives because I am PISSED. This is not fair to us, nor my husband, when we've helped when they've called on us 😡😡
