does anyone supplement in the evenings due to low supply?
Come the morning in usually leaking through my pad, bra and shirt, my boobs are hard. Up until about 5ish baby seems satisfied with each feed. After that she seems hungry, my boobs feel extremely empty for hours. I will feed her on one side until she unlatches herself, il burp her and if still giving cues (which she always is) put her back into the same boob, I keep doing this until she doesn't latch anymore, if she still seems hungry il put her on the other boob and Do the same thing - She always still seems hungry after this, fussing and crying, opening her mouth searching for the boob and not taking her paci - after having her in the boob in and off and switching both sides for 3 hours or so I decided to pump to see if I had any milk left, I pumped on both sides for about 7-10 mins each after it seemed as tho no more milk was coming out, i produced an oz (baring in mind this is after baby has been eating on and off for a few hits) I fed her that and she fell asleep for about an hour. Should I supplement formula? Or maybe should I pump some after her feeding a in the morning to top her off after her feelings in the evening? She's a month old. I think the last few days she been going through a growth spurt as she has been cluster feeding! What do you think? I really don't want to give her formula but I don't want a hungry and fussy baby either
