My birth story!

Here is my birth story. Today 9-15-16 I had my 38th week appointment, our baby girl has a cystic kidney we already knew this from it showing up on an ultrasound and we had to see a specialist about it. They said there was no way to tell if the kidney was working or not until she was born but we started having to get a weekly ultrasound around 30 weeks to check the fluid around her and if it went down they would have to induce. He done the routine ultrasound today and said her fluid had went down and he wanted us to go to the hospital to have a stress test done and depending on it we may or may not have a baby today. The stress test came back fine but I have a pseudo tumor which is where there's fluid build up causing my optic nerves to swell and my neuro didn't think it would be safe for me to push her out. They scheduled me for a C-section about 2 hours after that and at 7:43 Pm Little miss Greyson Nichole was born, I only got to see her for a few mins while I was getting stapled up and I stayed in recovery for 2-3 hours and didn't get to see her then either. After I finally made it back to the room at 10:00 they had taken her to the NICU because she swallowed fluid and there having to swap her from oxygen to a pap machine and I can't hold her until she starts getting better so we could use all the prayers we can get. It's so hard only getting to look at your baby and not hold her! I know my birth story is long and not as interesting as most due to my health issues but this was my first baby and not at all how I wanted it to go I would of liked to of been able to say I felt contractions and my water broke and getting to push out a little human from my body but I didn't and that's just something you have to prepare for!! Goodluck to all you mommies!
