Have your doctor check your thyroid levels! Your thyroid levels can increase and decrease after having your baby causing issues in creating breast milk. With my son I was able to feed him just fine for the first week or two. Then I couldn't produce much and I was super frustrated- and so was he. So I summed it up to the fact that he was born weighing 10 pounds 4 oz and I just didn't have enough supply to keep his chubby butt happy. Come to find out I have a thyroid disease called hashimotos and talking with my endocrinologist- she said it was because of my thyroid levels- my breast milk stopped producing, even with me trying everything (beer, fenugreek, mothers milk, prayers, and anything anyone suggested online). I tried for a month with no success with everything I did... Now I'm pregnant with baby #2 and taking thyroid medication that is a class A drug, and safe to use while breastfeeding. I'm so thankful I found this out and hopefully I'll be able to breastfeed my second baby without any issues! Goodluck to all of you!!!

I tried it too and it didnt work for me either. I could pump in the morning 2oz rest of the day barely 1oz and after a month I gave up ;( Good luck to u!

I would recommend meeting with a hands on lactation consultant for supply issues. Fenugreek can cause tummy issues for baby, and also some women have found it to have the opposite affect on their supply. Also make sure you are drinking plenty of water and protein.

It worked but it made me smell like pancakes . lol

I am taking the herbal liquid, pills, drinking the tea, eating a crapload of lactation cookies, pumping between 2 - 3 hours, power pumping, upped my water intake. I am seriously getting mL's. Not even ounces yet. Baby is 2 weeks old and in NICU so I can't breastfeed. I'm using a hospital grade rental at home and when we need to be out and about I pump in the car or at the hospital with a store bought. I have seen a slight increase, but seriously very minimal. I'm going to keep pumping until I can't anymore (dry up) and hope that when baby olis home and I can be with her all day it will stimulate my let down. I've read about ladies who take 10 - 12 weeks to establish supply, and even of a woman who re-established supply after letting herself dry out for a couple weeks.

I had no supply, and when I began renting s hospital grade pump I was producing double what I needed with one day! They are much higher quality than one you can buy off the shelves!

I tried in combination with mothers milk tea and lactation cookies and didn't see much difference. I did try the medication Reglan. It helped but did cause me to have some digestion issues. Maybe talk to your doctor about giving it a try. Good luck.

Do you have a La Leche League near you? I was having so many issues! Oversupply, undersupply, poor latch, lots of pain, the list goes on, but being able to talk with someone without having to make an appt to see my LC really helped. 🙂

I am trying it now, but doesn't seem to be working. My doctor told me to try dark beer but can't find the time between feedings.

Are you strictly pumping or are you actually breastfeeding feeding as well?

Fenugreek has anyone tried it?? Did it work?? I can bearaly get 1 oz out .....🖓😖 I used to be able to get 2oz .....getting really discouraged
