Taking our toddler with us when the time comes!

We have a two year old daughter and are due with our second baby at the beginning of Dec. Depending on when I go into labour we may or may not have someone to look after her. Anyone had their toddler with them when they went to hospital to have baby? It would only be my husband and I there, would it be ok to have our daughter too if no one is able to look after her? Anyone have any experiences they wanna share? TIA x
