Question about cycke after misscariage

I went to my appointment and finally got answers, my bleeding after my,misscariage stopped and then started a week later. It stopped within 5 days. This was a few days before my appointment. She told me I should expect my period 4 weeks from when it stopped. I'm trying to track since she said my body will " restart the factory" and tell an egg to mature before I get my period, so roughly two weeks after bleeding stops. But I'm wondering...... If I'm going by when it stopped I'm on CD 8 today, but if I got by when it started in on CD 12. I also have some ovary pains today. So what do you think? Should I use some opks in a few days? Or just go by the Drs advice and go by being on CD 8 now. No EWCM as of now. Still creamy and sticky.
