Depo weight gain??

Question

Has anyone not gained weight on depo?? I'm currently on the depo shot and my stomach is looking a bit chunky.. which I guess would make sense since I'm not working out as much...

But what is the weight gain from?? If I work out everyday will I be able to build muscle and have a flat stomach? Or will I just gain fat..?

I absolutely hated the depo when I was on it. Emotions were all over the place, I was tired all the time, I bled for about three months straight the first two shots I got, then two weeks straight on the third. I also gained about 40 pounds in that 9 months I was on it. I worked out constantly and didn't change anything about my workouts (except maybe making them more difficult) while on the depo compared to what I was doing before. And I changed my diet to be healthier. I still gained crazy amounts of weight.

I've been on the shot for years on and off and I've never gained weight. I've lost weight but I believe that was due to stressing majorly. I will say that it changes with each body type. I got on it TO gain weight but no bueno.

I've been on it for a month and so far my weights still the same, it fluctuates. Sometimes I'd gain 1 pound then lose 1 pound  then gain it again and so forth. My emotions has been bad though. I get anxiety often now usually I hardly get it but now it's often. Cramps here and there but loving the shot so far but it did take my period away I was supposed to have gotten my period a week ago and it never came. My doctor told me I most likely won't get my period which is why I'm not surprised I'm don't have it.

I did gain weight while one the shot, and I did work out 5/7 days a week, and I eat pretty healthy. It's just one of the side effects I guess

When I took the depo shot, it was a horror story! I threw up constantly, and didn't have my period for two and a half months, then suddenly had it for three months straight, with just a few days off in between. I gained about 20 pounds and I was a complete butthole with emotions up and down. 
I hope your experience is much better than mine was!
