I gave birth to my 7 year old son, his father had his little brother while we were separated, he's 6. We got back together before he turned two and I don't even call him my stepson. He's my baby. We ended up separating almost 2 years ago, and last year both boys came to live with me and my boyfriend when their dad got sick. Their father has since passed from his cancer, and both boys still live with us. They have informed me that they want a little sister. The only thing is... They want one like, now and we've been ttc for 10 months. I keep telling them it's a little harder than just wanting one. I feel like I'm letting everyone down (including myself) every time I start...

Ps his bio mom is in and out of his life having missed all holidays and birthdays for the last 5 1/2 years. We haven't heard anything about her in weeks and think she may be in jail... again.. Last time it was drugs and prostitution. Good ridance.
