Lupus and Monthly Cycles

So I was diagnosed with lupus in May but I've developed it in January. I was wondering if anyone else has it and if it effects their cycle. I know lupus is different for every woman but in some aspects symptoms overlap. My cycle since around January has been different. I would have it really light and for one or two days. But a few months later I had it really heavy and actually for a whole 7 days straight. I also stopped taking birth control back in October, so maybe it was my cycle going back to how it was before?? I'm not sure. If you have any ideas what it might be please let me know thanks. 🙂🙂
