pregnancy injections

Who's having their whooping cough injections? Or already had it? I've heard it can knock you about ?

I had mine two weeks ago. The vaccination used in the UK also includes protection against tetanus, polio and diphtheria. Die to the tetanus you do get a pretty sore arm, so I'd suggest you don't have it in the side you sleep on. All better though than seeing your newborn come down with one of these illnesses and potentially damage them for life

I will have my baby vaccinated once they are born. I will not get it while pregnant. I did the same with #1

I had a whooping cough injection at 22 weeks I'm currently 29 weeks turning therefore they say it protects you baby from colds for 8 weeks til they get their first neeeles I've been absoultly fine :) xx

I was vaccinated while pregnant with my now 6 year old and also my now 2 year old. I believe it's good for 10 years but not sure if my doc will recommend getting it while pregnant to share with babe before he's born.

Just wanted to add that if your rub your arm vigorously at the injection site after the shot and throughout the day, as well as doing arm circles with that arm, you can really decrease the soreness and the duration.

Had mine. Sore arm for 24 hrs but nothing of any great circumstance! Xxx

I got mine while pregnant it was nothing tho it had my arm sore for days

I'll be getting mine in a few weeks. Each to their own though.
