Metformin for PCOS

I have PCOS and one Fallopian tube due to an ectopic in April. I have just started metformin and I am wanting to try another IUI in October. Usually with the IUI I have been ok Clomid 100mg 7 days and take a trigger and progesterone. Anyone have any success with the metformin for PCOS?
