I can't even.

It can't just be me that finds this offensive, especially as someone who calmly tries to clarify with the other person what exactly they are trying to say and why, and then reach a solution if there is a disagreement. But my recently-ex SO decided to send me this:
"I always find it humorous when women, who have proven to be over emotional basket cases a lot and make decisions based on emotions  (which normally defies logic), actually try to blanket men with the "think with their dicks" stereotype."
Then it proceeded like this:
So then I ask "Are you referring to me?"
Him: "Did I say you? In general..."
Then said
Him: "You are definitely guilty of what I alleged."
Me: "I don't understand where this is all coming from. I don't appreciate being called what I'm not. Can you clarify what you're trying to say here?"
Him: "lmao you're too defensive to have a conversation like this. Don't try your high horse routine with me."
WTF?!?! I'm SO CONFUSED, and hurt for that matter. I already knew once in awhile he has an ego problem, but what the hell??? Am I the only one who finds this absolutely unacceptable??
