How many IUIs before you decided to move to IVF?

Woke up this morning feeling AF coming on. 3rd IUI failed. Dr said it's normal to take a few rounds to work. But how many before enough is enough? I'm not ready emotionally nor financially to move on to IVF. But I don't know how many more failed IUIs I can take either. I just don't want you give up too soon eother.

After 3 iuis the chance of it working drops dramatically for iui #4-6. Not saying it won't work, but maybe take a break then do IVF? I did iui and I know how hard the process is so I wouldn't want anyone to go through it if there is a low probability of success.

My doctor said that if IUI is going to work, it will happen in 3 tries.

Six failed iui cycles and first time ivf success! Almost 33 weeks! Wish we had gone to ivf sooner- ivf process goes so much faster!!!

We only did 1. We had male and female factors and figured the $$ was better spent towards IVF that I was sure we would have to eventually anyway. That and I couldn't handle the heartbreak month after month anymore. Our first IVF cycle was successful. Good luck 🍀

We got pregnant on our 7th round of iui, we did three rounds of clomid with iui, and 4 rounds of injectables with iui, but it finally worked and we are currently 25 weeks!

I had 4 IUI before we decided to move on to IVF. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have wasted my time with all the IUI's. First IVF was a successful, currently 24 weeks pregnant.

We did 7...just had our IVF transfer yesterday!  It took me that long to be able to move on. Wasn't easy but hoping for success! Good luck!
