Sterilized Infant water?

Question

I was told by a few family members to give baby some sterilized infant water after formula feeds to help with digestion and gas. Anyone else using infant water ? 
I am doing both formula and breast feeding by the way. Mostly formula since I'm still not producing enough milk at the time.

Babies aren't supposed to have water until 6mo old and then only sips. Unless other wise directed by a doctor

Baby's should not have water until 6 months & older unless directed differently by doctor. It's harmful in many ways to them and also because if they get full off the water they will not drink formula or breast milk and won't get the right nutrients & can actually become dehydrated from it!

I had to give my baby water when he was constipated the other week, even then it was only an ounce in between feeds and he's not had in since!

Never give them water. As for breastmilk the more you supplement the less you'll produce. I would try and see a lactation consultant about upping supply if you don't want to supplement as much

To help relieve gas, place baby on his back and hold onto each of his legs. Pump them in and out, gently pushing his knees into his belly. I hear it works really well and plan to do it at least once a day with my little one.

If you do give your baby special water I recommend it's fluoride free. I give my baby Core water
