Cervix position help! May be tmi for some

Af is 7-10 days late, confirmed at least a week by my dr. She won't test me for atleast another week because she said it could still be too early for accurate results. I keep getting bfn. It takes good effort to reach my cervix (one foot on toilet seat to check) it feels round, slightly firm, with an extremely thin slit. Cm has been damp, but more wet than school glue. Is this a good indicater that af is coming?
