Does anyone have a alcoholic family member that drains you?

It's awful! I have a sister that is a complete alcoholic and takes prescription downers. She's always been an angry person. I'm not sure if jealous is the right word, but she always puts me down no matter what and never can just be nice and happy for me. She constantly makes belittling comments about ftm's knowing that i am one. I can literally feel my blood pressure rise as i deal with her. Ahh she's just so draining... It's a shame we can't be close like so many other sisters. Does anyone else go through something like this, if so how do you handle it? Lol Advice please. Im open to new ideas on how to deal with the crazyness.
