Any advice?? My water broke at 34+3

My water broke this morning and I'm now admitted to the hospital on antibiotics for 48 hours. If I don't go into labor naturally I'll be sent home for a few days and then induced next week. Does anyone have any experience with this or any insight?? Not gonna lie, I'm kind of freaking out!

No experience. Just wanted to say good luck momma! And I'm sure the docs will keep a close eye on you since your water broke. Did it break fully or is it trickling out? Its exciting your baby is on their way though! Relax and happy laboring!!

At least you made it this far and they are giving you another week! My water tore with kiddo #1 at 32 weeks. Didn't realize it (I was coughing a lot, I thought i just peed). Went in to the doc because pain wasn't going away, and they said "oh! You're 4cm and we can see hair!". So I had to have her at that point. Was in NICU for 5 weeks.

I'm 34+3, and my doc said today that if I go into labor they won't even bother trying to stop it, so it's good you made it this far.

(My daughter is super healthy by the way- no one can tell she's a premie at 2.5!) :)

I wish they would have let me go home, I ended up having to have a C-section because I never progressed past 3 cm.  you got this mama! 😊👍🏻❤️

I haven't experienced it, but baby will be coming soon, be happy that they aren't forcing you to take your baby out and letting your body do the work. Relax mommy :-)
