I'm meeting with a genetic counselor today because they found an extra finger and toe growing on my baby in the ultrasound. Everything else appeared normal but I go back for a level 2 ultrasound in two weeks. I'm hoping and praying it is an isolated thing that can be taken care of after birth but the doctor said there's a chance it could be part of a syndrome. The last thing I thought I'd hear yesterday is that they found abnormalities. It really is terrifying but I'm just going to keep hoping that my baby will be okay.
