Are we talking herpes 1 or 2 ... cause the truth is that most people have herpes 1. Probably since childhood.

The best thing anyone with herpes can do is get educated and accept yourself first! Educate yourselves with scientific reliable sources and then educate others who you feel comfortable doing so with. Before you try doing this though you need to accept yourself, and get your confidence back so people are seeing that as you are educating them. People need a face of someone they care about linked to herpes and then FINALLY the stigma can start to change. #NormalizetheHerp

I have type one and type two. I was just recently diagnosed. Made me kind of depressed. I wasn't really mentally stable months ago, so idk what I would've done if I found out then. It's kind of fucked up that people assume if you have herpes that you whore around... I got it from 
my abusive ass ex who was cheating. Luckily it didn't destroy my current relationship... if could've easily if he wasn't more understanding.
