Foley catheter for induction?

Has anyone had experience with getting induced starting with a Foley catheter?
My doctor explained how the process will work, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any stories of experience with it and how the labor went..?

I actually had it with both of my oldest children with the first it gave me period cramps all night but it dilated me to 4cm and with the start of pitocin I had her 4 hours later. With the second it dilated me to 4-5cm and I had him about 2 1/2 hours after they started the pitocin

I had it. It honestly wasn't painful to get put in. It caused me to have period like cramps all night and it was a little  uncomfortable bc they tape the tube to your leg to kind of pull on the balloons. It got me from less than 1cm to 4 though
