when is best to have a baby shower?

At how many weeks are people planning to have their baby shower? 😍

I had mine at 34 weeks last time and he is only 10 months now so we won't be doing one this time. We have talked about having a BBQ at our house to celebrate the new little one and people can bring diapers if they really want to bring something but that we aren't expecting people to get stuff since our other one is so little. I just like hosting parties lol

Also if I can recommend something is that we had a diaper party with our first and this proved to be the most helpful since diapers aren't as fun to buy as little toys and outfits. It really helps out and it allows you to spend your money on the more fun it's

I had mine at 7 mos - it was nice to be able to wash everything/set things up before it got too close to my due date. We were also able to buy anything else we didn't receive but still needed. I liked the timing of it. For this baby, I don't think we are going to have a shower unless someone decides to throw me a sprinkle. My other baby is 11mos old and we didn't find out the gender until birth so I really have everything we need except diapers and some other miscellaneous items. :-)

I had mine at 34 weeks and I was absolutely miserable. I asked for it to be sooner but they didn't listen. After words I was so tired and swollen I just cried. It also wasn't fun going thru stuff and putting things away that big and puffy. With my second we did a sip and see and it was fantastic. I was already starting to feel better, more people came bc they got to see baby and I was able to relax while everyone else held baby. It was perfect. This was my sprinkle. It was just so simple and cute. My mom just ran to walmart real quick and made a couple of dips. Everyone had a great time.

For my first we had it a little over 35 weeks. April 10th, and i gave birth April 29th at 38 weeks. 
I have been asked if we are going to have a baby shower for this baby, i am not entirely sure, his family is 8 hours or more away, so we might just do a little party.

We had ours after the baby was born so that people could meet the little. And because we didn't find out the gender it was easier to wait

I'm doing my earlier at like 7 months because I'm having a c-section and my doc already expects me to be on bedrest the last month or so due to my spinal disorder so we're doing it before all that will happen or at least we hope we are lol

We are doing a gender reveal/diaper party when we find out the sex.. Then probably will do a shower after the baby is here.
