My little guy is finally here after my water broke Monday night at 10:45 pm. When I came in they put the monitors on me and then started the pitocin around 1:00 am. My contractions got worse through the morning and around 6:30 am I called for the epidural. I was dilated to a 6-7 when I got the epidural and it's the best decision I could of ever done while in labor. The checked me again at 10 and I was still at a 7 so they put me on my right side and checked me at 12 and I was a 9-91/2 cm dilated. I knew it was almost time to push once I got to a 10. So they checked me at 1:30 and I was a 10 but he was faced the wrong and side ways his butt was up in my ribs. I tried pushing for 2 hours and wasn't going anywhere. So the doctor decided to do a c-section. It was the last thing I wanted to do but I knew it was the best thing for the baby. Jesse Ryan Harrison was born on September 20th 2016 at 2:58 weighing 8 pounds 2 ounces and 21 inches long.
