Has anyone taken any pills for PUPPS??

My doctor is taking forever to review my blood work and I'm itchy itchy itchy!!!! Has anyone's doctor recommended any pills?

No just get on with it unfortunately. Oat baths and cream. Not worth taking medication when it's not dangerous just annoying. I won't take anything though unless necessary

Dandelion root tablets. Has to be the root. All natural and basically a diretic as pupps is your liver not coping. Took them in my last pregnancy and drank lots of water, weed like a donkey and GONE in 24 hours!! Another lady on here I told and she tried them and she told me it worked too. My doctor thought it was amazing. Worth a try if you are in agony but drink water and lots of it! Flushes out the toxins then :)

Take some Benadryl. I've had PUPPS for weeks and nothing works. He prescribed me a steroid cream yesterday and I found out it was $300 at the pharmacy. I literally cannot even afford it and my doctor is on vacation so looks like I'm going to suffer for a couple more weeks.

I have a steroid cream and am taking a prescription! Between the two... it's mostly just my stomach that is driving me nuts at times!

I use cocoa butter instead of other lotions, I find it works better with itching. I also take benedryl at night (only one pill) so I can actually sleep without itching. I take a lot of warm baths, and STAY HYDRATED. I know we're supposed to do that already, but I've found it really makes a difference. Also, stay cool. Don't overheat. If you have an itch attack, pull something frozen from the freezer and slap it on the itch. It shocks the bumps and numbs your belly. Definitely helps with itching. Hope some of this helps you!
