I've read that you ovulate right around 30 hours after HCG shows up in your urine. Taking an LH test at noon and one ~8 hours later will help you pinpoint ovulation more accurately. According to the book I read this in (by a renowned fertility specialist), if you take tests twice a day, you can be fairly certain that you ovulate about 24 hours after the first positive test you get.

This month, I took one at noon that was negative and one at 8:30pm that was positive, so would guess that I ovulated around 8:30pm the following night.

Only u can tell if you chart your temp or cm. I don't chart cm so yes maybe the day after you have ewcm. And maybe invest in opks they are a huge help. Good luck and baby dust

Also re EGWM, it varies from person to person. I get it for about 5 days, and ovulate on the fourth day. Checking CM against BBT against OPK helps everything add up. :)
