don't know what to do
I'm 23w4 days and our little girl has bladder outlet obstruction, which is very serious. I've had three amniocentesis procedures and two stents put in over the past month. Monday I will most likely have to have another stent put in. If that one doesn't work, there's nothing else that can be done for our little girl.
This morning I woke up with period like cramps that lasted about five minutes. Awhile later I wiped and had bright red blood that ranged from dime size to streaks. I haven't had any bleeding since. I called my specialist's nurse and she said if I had any more cramps that didn't go away after laying down and drinking water or if I started bleeding again to go to the hospital.
My delimma is that I work in a jail and took today off because we can't have cell phones and I needed to spend most of the day on the phone figuring things out for Monday. I'm supposed to go back tomorrow but I don't know if I should...worried about spotting and cramping again and I have to try to get in touch with the doctor.
I hate missing work...until I started having problems, I never missed and feel bad about it. What should I do? I'm already going to have to miss next Monday and Tuesday most likely.
