does waxing help with ingrown hairs down there ?

I have a lot of in grown hairs from the last time I shaved and my friend said waxing instead helps is that true?

Answer

After years of shaving I finally switched to waxing! :D the first time hurts like hell but the more often you go (once a month or so) it hurts less and less, plus a wax for me lasts 2 weeks before little baby hairs start growing back :) and I'll maybe get 1 ingrown hair, compared to shaving where after a few days there might be way more. I'm hooked for sure and find that it's still cheaper than buying new razor blades every few weeks.
