Does it hurt?

so for anyone out there that has an IUD or Implant, did it hurt getting it?

Implant doesn't hurt at all. I have nexplanon. You will bruise, but it isn't a painful bruise. Its just there. Of course, don't push on it, but you'll be fine

Don't know about IUD but the implant didn't hurt. You get anesthetic in your arm and so you can't feel a thing

Nexplanon will be sore for a few days(not bad), IUDs you don't get numbed for, and they have to open your cervix a bit to place it, which hurts.

They numb you with a few shots, to be honest the first shot or two hurts but after that it's more pressure but you don't actually feel the implant being inserted
