Anyone refuse a glucose test?

I'm thinking about it. I have read a bit about the drink not being the best for my body and the baby - not sure how true it is. Plus I hear horror stories.

I will be doing it. The effects of undiagnosed GD are SO BAD that I would never take the chance.

I refused the one hour test and went straight for the 3. Two prior pregnancys and I always fail the 1 so I just opted to go for the 3 this time

The ingredients of the drink they use are illegal in some countries because they are so toxic. I am not going to refuse the test all-together, just the type of glucose they want to use. I was told you could do the same thing with honey. Either way, I'm not looking forward to the fasting for 12 hours part before😳

I'll be doing it. Did it with my first and everything was perfectly fine and will do it again this time.

I did the glucose test but I didn't have to fast. My midwife said that I would only have to do the fast if the initial test had red flags. Everything was good luckily!

I never do a fasted one I have major pass out episodes. So I refuse. They can't stand me at kaiser haha. It me and my baby and they can suck it! I know all the signs and symptoms of GD and go get a test on my dad's sugar monitor myself. I can handle a finger prick:)

I'm not sure about skipping altogether, just in case something was wrong and you would never know. But I have read a lot about alternatives to the drink! If your doctor is willing, you may be able to eat fruit and drink juice that has the required amount of sugar before the test and opt out of the drink. Just an idea!
