muscle spasms

I'm 15 weeks and 3 days but ever since last week I've been getting muscle spasms in my lower back area almost everyday and it get to the point where I can barely walk is this normal? I'm a FTM so I don't know but if it isn't then I'll tell my doctor about when I go for my appointment
