did baby come before your schedule c section?

Just wondering? What was the process like? I'm scheduled for a c section at 39
Weeks and just wondering what happens if baby comes before.

My c-section was scheduled for 39+3 a Monday because I turned 39 weeks on a Saturday. Well on Saturday which was 39 weeks exactly I woke up in my water broke at 830. I called the doctor and got to the hospital at 9:30. I wasn't having any contractions and I was only dilated to one but because my water broke they had to do the c-section. My dr was already at the hospital they put me in right away and my baby was born via C-section at 11:30.

I didn't go into labor before my c section but my doctor said if I happened to go into labor to go to the hospital and she would do the c section then anyway.

Had a scheduled c-section at 37 weeks due to a previous myomectomy surgery. Went into the hospital for stomach pains at 34+6. It was my appendix. Unfortunately, my uterus was in the way of my appendix. So I had a c-section and appendectomy at 35+2. He was perfect. Only spent 24 hours in the NICU!

How far along are you now? For me I started contracting back to back. Initially they tried to stop the contractions since I was 34 weeks and dilated to 2 cm. However, once the contractions calmed a bit, I was checked again and was dilated to 5 cm. That, along with other complications, made the doctor decide to go forward with an emergency c. This all happened over 3-4 hours so there wasn't a lot of time that passed. I think if you are passed 37/38 weeks they will go forward with your c section. If not, they will try to stop your labor.

I was scheduled for c-section at 38 weeks. C-section was moved forward to 37 weeks and 3 days because of preeclampsia

i was supposed to have my c-section on 39week (baby was breech), but my labor (contractions) started at 37+5 so i had an emergency c-section on that day.

My c-section will probably be scheduled for 39 weeks,  but I'm high risk for preterm labour so may end up going in before - I'm told that so long as I get in to the hospital early on and there aren't tons of emergency sections that day they'll just fit me in to have it when I get there.

I was scheduled my c section due to baby being butt down and very low August 23rd but woke up the 22nd with my water broke. And instant contractions about 2 minutes apart. When I woke up I noticed I had a wet spot on my pants and the bed so I thought I had just peed myself. So I went to the bathroom actually owed then cleaned myself changed my clothes and while I was changing more fluid came out so I went back in to the bathroom and sat on the toilet til i thought it was done. Got cleaned again stood up and once again more came out. So I walked to the room got another clean change of clothes but it just kept coming so I woke my bf up and told him I thought my water broke. While he was getting everything ready I just stood in the tub until we were about to leave bc it just kept coming. While all the was happening I was contracting so bad I could barely talk.
