I don't have human babies but I have a fur baby who broke her foot at the groomers. The groomer suggested we pay 50/50 and I was so distraught and distracted I agreed today. Vet said my pup may need surgery if ligaments are torn and my groomer said she'd file an insurance claim to pay for everything if that happened. What should I do?? Back story: this girl and I have been friends since high school (over 10 years) and I trust her 100% with my dog and know it was an accident. I don't want to ruin the friendship over money but I just paid $200 of a $400 vet bill !? And my dog didn't even get her damn haircut lol it happens during the drying.
