I am a homeschooling mom of two and my new little one is due the 22nd of October. I'm wondering what other homeschooling families plan to do after the baby is born. I don't want to take too much time off of the kids schooling and get behind. My daughter is a kindergartener and we are finally getting our letter sounds and blending down and I fear that a break will push her progress back and make it more difficult to start back up. My son is about the 2nd grade level and phonics are his trouble spot and, again, I fear a break would push this behind as well. Per our state we have to have 172 days a year and 4 hrs of instruction time. Just don't know how it's all going to work with a new little baby.
