However I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and didn't want to get my hopes up until I had a blood test. Luckily I was already going to my doctors office today so I was able to get a blood test done and had the results in a little over an hr! My doc is amazing! 💁🏼

Here's the curious phone call part....the blood work came back positive. The doc asked for the first day of my last cycle and when I told her she corrected me to the previous month. I told her no I was sure when my last cycle was because I have a tracking app. She said that would only put me at three weeks and the test wouldn't have shown up positive if I was only three weeks. 😦

Both the blood work and the cheapie test came up positive, but I'm also positive of my last cycle. The doc is re running my blood work for numbers instead of just a positive or negative and will be calling with the results in the morning. 🤔

Does anyone have any experience with this? Or had anything similar happen? Any words of wisdom would be great! Sorry for the long drawn out post, and thank you for reading, I'm mostly just worried this is too good to be true and there's been a mix up somewhere along the way 😕

UPDATE: Dr called back this morning and my number was 96.5 so my dates check out! I am indeed pregnant!! 3wks and 4 days 😊 I just had symptoms really early and was lucky enough that the test showed positive prompting me to get blood work done. I have my first appointment at six weeks for a viability scan and to set up the rest of my routine appointments 😊 thank you everyone for your kind words and encouragement!! I was thinking the worst that they had me mixed up with someone else with the same name lol so blessed and lucky and so so happy 😊☺️🙏🏻 prayers love and baby dust to everyone out there!! 🙏🏻❤️✨
