Warning to moms-to-be of girls re: baby leggings
I have 3 kids but just had my first girl. I bought and received as gifts many 'baby girl leggings', in different brands. My baby girl is not fat by any means, but still the waistline of most of these pants are quite narrow and a bit snug. They do fit, but they are slightly tight and apparently they were upsetting her tummy, even when going up a size. She was fussy quite a lot until one day she was much happier and slept better, I realized the pants she wore that day were much stretchier in the waist than the leggings. We have since ditched the leggings and now she just wears 3 of all the pants we bought her, she's considerably more comfortable and suddenly sleeps and naps significantly better, like we flipped a switch. Now I have all these brand new pants she will never wear. I have to buy her new pants, I've actually bought her boy pants in neutral colors because they're more comfortable. So make sure you pull the waistline of the pants before you buy them, they should stretch wide very easily, if not, don't get them. Baby boy pants don't have this issue from my past experience with my sons, just some of the baby girl leggings. Just passing on my 'live and learn' experience!
