I just went for my 8 week appointment and was told that they could only see a sac but no sign of baby inside. The doctor is going to have me come back in 2 weeks to check and see if maybe it's just an earlier pregnancy than expected. She also had a formal ultrasound done and they discovered I have either a bicornuate (heart shaped) uterus or a uterus septum. I was already worried that the baby is not being seen, but now I'm even more anxious because I read that these abnormalities in the uterus cause mc and preterm delivery bc there might not be enough room for baby to grow. Has anyone dealt with either of these uterus abnormalities? Hoping for some good news. :(
