new to this group
Hey everyone. My name is Alexis. I found this group today. I will delete this post after I get a few replies (because I do have a question) since it really is "off-topic", if you will.
1) I want to apologize to every woman in here. Why? Because I am dumb! Let me explain.... I live in STL. I have witnessed, in person, the riots. Been stopped on highways due to protests and I used to think, "what the hell. Seriously?" I was not for BLM.
Then I did my research and finally understood what BLM truly means. It is not what the media likes to display. So for that, I am sorry.
2) I will more so read the posts than comment because I am still learning. I am white. I don't know what it is like to be in your shoes. I am willing to learn, if that even makes sense.
3) I am not sure if any of you have seen my posts on CC, but I am all for BLM now that I actually understand the meaning. I read a post on here mentioning the 3 stars and how one poster said it was only okay to have those stars if you were 10000000% really truly supportive (that is the short version). If you guys don't mind, I would love to have those stars next to my name.
