Vaginal temperature?

So I am trying to conceive and I have heard about checking your vaginal temperature. When is best to check it? And what is the normal temp and what is the temp I'm looking for? If anyone can help please!

No. Basal body temp. You don't need to check your vaginal temp. Get a basal body thermometer, which shows your temp to the hundredth degree, therefore showing more subtle shifts in your body temp. Your temp spikes around ovulation and remains high if an egg has implanted. Your vaginal temperature has nothing to do with that.

With bbt you can test orally or vaginally. If you sleep with your mouth open, it will give wrong readings. Therefore you would test vaginally  for a more accurate reading
