Pee after sex?

My boyfriend and I are long distance, so whenever we get to see each other, sexy time and making love is really important. I know peeing after sex is vital in order to avoid a UTI, but I also have always wanted to fall asleep in his arms and getting up to pee always really ruins the moment. 
Is it okay to just forget about peeing once? Or should I just deal with it.

I'm super prone to cystitis so it is *vital* I pee every single darned time or I am absolutely guaranteed to get it. Luckily, though, I can now recognise the symptoms super early but that familiar burning sensation is not a friend.

You'll find out what your body's limits are sooner or later, but if anything feels slightly off down there get it checked out straightaway. Seriously, you can damage yourself badly waiting to see if it'll clear up!

Sometimes you forget to pee but it's not always an exact science that you will BAM get a UTI. However, I have learned that I have to pee and then shower if lube is involved or I will get one. That is my body though.

It's not "vital", obviously helps avoid infection but honestly, if you're both clean and healthy it peeing is just fine
