Subchorionic Hematoma...anyone?!

Has anyone ever had one of these? Was told I had one and that it should resolve itself on its own. But I just need someone to calm my fears and stress a bit. Any advice would be welcome!

I had one with my son. It cramped so hard and clots...huge clots were coming out. Blood just gushed. It was messy as heck. I totally thought I lost him. He is now a very active little boy. Sidenote: the same year three of my gf's were Prego too and all had one...which was odd. We all had our babies and hey are super cute at 1 year old now.

I was diagnosed with one monday. It's scary at first, yes. But if you do a bit of research and ask questions it should be better for you in the long run.

I was diagnosed with one too during my previous pregnancy, it's just a clot of blood that forms often between the embryo and the wall of your uterus, it can cause it to detach sometime, but more often you can bleed just a little bit. Your doctor will monitor it, if it's not too big it should not be a problem and yes, often resolves itself. I wouldn't worry yet, most probably it will disappear soon.

Had one my last pregnancy. Very scary as it caused significant bleeding. But it went away and I went on to have a healthy baby girl!

Me on both sides of uterus ! Same boat as you no bleeding just mild cramps didn't see a baby at 5w4d only the sac

I was just diagnosed with one as well Wednesday morning. Were you bleeding at all or did they find yours just on ultrasound. I started gushing blood and when I went to doctor they found it then on u/s. Was told to take it easy, no exercising and no sex for two weeks until I go back. Hopefully others will be able to say what happened to them later on.

I completely know how you feel. I had a gush of blood, it was super scary. I ended up going to hospital because I didn't know what was happening. They explained it was very common. It happens to 25% of pregnant women so 1 in every 4. My doctor recommended no sex till next appointment (3 weeks) just because bleeding while pregnant is scary. But it very often heals and resolves itself within a couple weeks.
