baby doesn't like her crib

I think my baby girls Is use to arms what I mean by that is the she only like people holding her all the time  she doesn't like when we put her down when she fall asleep she just doesn't like to be on her bassinet or crib. What can I do so she can get use to sleep on her crib whenever she takes naps during the day. My husband mom say is my fault because when she was a newborn all I wanted to do was hold her and cuddle with her. Has anybody experience this before with their babies?
