new to this pill thing

So I'm currently on my second pack(trinessa lo) I'm on the last week of active pills starting the placebo pills on Sunday. Well yesterday I started spotting. And today it's a little heavier, and it's pinkish. Is this normal? I let my so finish in me last Sunday so I'm a little on edge. I need some reassurance
