I went in today to have my blood pressure checked after being put on medication at my initial appointment a week ago.  To my surprise, the nurse said since I am more than ten weeks that we could listen to the heart tones.  I was super nervous because I am a huge worrier and had some brown spotting at about six weeks. I've also had some pelvic pain recently and have been in panic mode.  However, to my great relief, baby apparently has a heartbeat of about 160!  I'm sad my hubby wasn't there but he'll get to listen at our appointment in two weeks with the Doctor!  Guess it's time for me to start telling some family that this is really happening!!  What were everyone else's heart rates?
