November adoption pending, inducing lactation

Hi Everyone! Our story is unique as we are adopting our bundle of joy due on November 2nd. I have begun pumping every 2-3 hours to induce lactation. On top of that I am eating oatmeal with added brewer's yeast and flaxseed meal, and taking the herbal combo Dr Christopher ' s Lactation Formula and additional fenugreek. (2 capsules of each 3-4 times a day). So far I my breast have increased in size and become much more elastic but not a drop of milk yet. There is a specific protocol recommended for inducing lactation but I decided against adding birth control up front to simulate pregnancy, and not to take domperidone because I don't know what kind of aide effects it would have on me. Anyone else here ever induced lactation without being pregnant?
