Yes omg I remember having this when I was younger, my little brothers grandma made it and she called it dirty rice. Bring little u think "ewww ugh I don't want no dirty rice, that's nasty" lol but I seen some zatarins rice mix when I was looking for my gumbo mix n they had dirty rice mix n u add beef, I tell you what its good girl n don't worry. When things  r tight sometimes you gotta emprovize😁(idk I think I spelled that right)😨

Sometimes poor man's food is all we got. My mom used to make hotdogs and potatoes with some homemade gravy when money was tight. She also made dirty rice (rice and ground beef) sometimes. Add some onions and garlic if you can it'll add flavor.
