so confused! miscarriage and pregnancy!

I had a miscarriage in August. And as soon as I stopped bleeding we had unprotected sex. My period has not returned. I did a test yesterday, a close friend said she could see a very faint line. It's really hard to get pictures of it though. Could I be pregnant? Like is is possible to have a miscarriage, not even have a period then be pregnant!
