TTC with one tube
A couple years ago I had an ectopic pregnancy. The first thing the doctors did to try to take care of it was to give me a shot of methotrexate. It did not work. A few days later my husband took me to the ER in excruciating pain. The pregnancy had ruptured my tube and I had profuse internal bleeding and nearly died. My doctor had to remove my tube. He assured me that my ovaries still work wonderfully and my other tube is in fine working order. A few months after my surgery, I became pregnant with my daughter who is now 2. We are trying to have a second baby. I know that it is perfectly possible to conceive and carry a baby again, but for some reason that doesn't keep me from thinking that my daughter is my one miracle. Is there anyone else in the same boat? Or who has had multiple children with one tube?
