how do you correctly fill up a hot water bottle??

It's that time of the month and the hot water bottle I just purchased says do not microwave and do not put boiling hot water in there so what am I supposed to do with it? When I put warm water in I can't feel it.

I just boil it haha, if I fill it up with just hot water it dosent ease the pain because I can't feel the heat! Just boil the water or just leave it to heat up for a bit and just use it. :)

Never microwave a hot water bottle!! Boil the jug & just flick it off before it starts boiling, it'll still be very hot, I always used to put fully boiled water in mine & it was fine :)
