Help! Baby necessities or unnecessities? 😣

Question

What are your essentials/must haves when it comes to baby gear/activities for the first few months? 
Playard/pack and play
Swing
Boppy/boppy newborn lounger
Rock and play
Bouncer seat
Playmats
Are any of these unnecessary in your opinion? Does baby need a bouncer/rock and play if she has a swing? Which do you prefer most between the 2? I'm down to my last few days and want to make sure i have everything.

I only used a playmat when baby was a lot older. And only used a pack n play when we traveled. This baby , the best thing I bought was a rock n play. Its the only way shed sleep for the longest time. That and my swing I had. We use swing, rock n play , and bouncer. The most unuseful thing I bought honestly was a changing table haha. I change the baby where we are, I don't make it a point to go lay her on a changing table. Especially during the night.

I used the pack n play with bassinet on top for baby to sleep in for the first 6 weeks, then it was an easy transition to the crib since it was the same flatness. We used the Rock n play during day for some naps, I didn't leave baby in there overnight. I think the swing is a must, we used that for many naps, even now at 4 months old he uses swing, doesn't quite fit into rock n play anymore lengthwise. 
I didn't have a bouncer, and I just put a changing pad in top of the dresser in the nursery..which was a must for us bc we always change him on there. Boppy we didn't use much, just a few times for tummy time. I used the Brest Friend pillow for breastfeeding..it's more sturdier and my husband liked that one for bottle feeding too. We have blankets on the floor for tummytime, he rolls right off the playmat..so maybe those big foam tiles would be more helpful.

Most unused of that list was the play mat. Everything else I loved!! Especially the bouncer.

Unfortunately, it depends on what your baby likes! I didn't have a RNP and didn't mean to get one, but I had to when my baby refused to sleep on a flat surface. Now she sleeps in the PNP so that's essential too, although I personally found all the extras except the bassinet to be worthless.

We've used the playmat every single day. She took her naps in the swing right from the start, and now she plays in it too.

The bouncy seat is the only thing I could do without. She hated it at first. Now she likes it ok, but it's not her favorite. It was a gift so I'm fine with having it. But some babies love the bouncers and hate the swing, so what do you do?

I would say the PNP is essential because you'll use it for traveling and whatnot even if baby doesn't sleep in it regularly. A playmat is great for doing tummy time and playing. If you have either a swing or a bouncer already, just wait and see if baby likes that before buying the other. Same with the RNP, don't bother buying one unless baby turns out to need it.
