Blood Test Results - High TSH

Lauren • Wife, fur mommy, Michigan State Spartan, lawyer! 💜
Feeling like an awful Mommy today!  After my first appointment (ten days ago) I was put on high blood pressure medication and then I got a call from the Nurse about my blood test results today.  Obviously, I missed the initial call since I was working but I was expecting the worst!  Good news is that all of my blood work looked great, except my TSH is 3.03 which means it's too high for first trimester pregnancy (apparently, anything higher than 2.5 is considered hypothyroid during pregnancy).  I have always had borderline numbers but haven't been put on medication...now I feel like I should have had my blood tests done sooner since I won't be starting Synthroid until today, 11 weeks!  I'm so worried for the health of this baby and cannot stop kicking myself over my apparently health issues!  😥  Anyone else with similar issues?
