how many Braxton hicks are normal a day?

I'm having period pains almost back to back in my pubic vagina area my stomach tightens and it's starts strong and fizzles away in 30-40seconds. Is this Braxton hicks I'm not in real pain but it's enough to write this post.

My dr told me to call or go to the er for 6-8 in an hour. I have them a lot and went in once but they don't really make me cramp.

I don't know what's normal, but o get at least 3 every hour- I don't usually feel it in my pelvis as much as ribs-pelvis. Very uncomfortable. Makes it hard to move. 😕
